Ougeinia oojeinensis
The species is named after the city of Ujjain, in Madhya Pradesh, and important species of deciduous forest types. The bark of this tree is used in traditional medicines.

To protect the biodiversity and ecosystem, this society aims to sensitize people and foster a participatory approach towards the conservation of the environment, forest, biodiversity, wildlife, climate change, etc., and to promote an understanding about aesthetical, social, religious, economic, and scientific values of the ecosystems and environment, as described under the Environment Protection Act, 1986.
